Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Very good experience, interesting and tasty fusion dishes. Notable mentions to the cocktails that were FANTASTIC. Our waitress Melissa was beyond professional and kind."
"Fantastic experience! We loved the food and really appreciate how attentive the service and chefs were to accommodate allergies. We didn’t manage to make a reservation but just went there around 7pm (when they had just opened). Luckily we still got 2 seats. There were even some more seats available although online it looked like it’s fully booked. One of our best dinners in Buenos Aires."
"This place is amazing! The dumplings and girgolas were my favorites. The service is fantastic; the chefs are so friendly and welcoming that you don’t want to leave. I understand why this is one of the top 50 best restaurants in Latin America."
"Great food, very interesting menu, all of the plates are designed to be shared. Every dish that we ordered was excellent! The service was impecable, definitely will come back!!"
"Probably the best meal we had in Argentina. Everything was delicious. Our waitress was very helpful speaking English to my wife and providing her an English menu. Atmosphere is super cool and unique. A definite must try for anyone visiting Buenos Aires"
"I had dinner with a party of 5 adults. We had 4 small dishes and 3 large dishes and all left completely satisfied. While the meal was a bit on the pricy side compared to other dinners we’ve enjoyed in Argentina, it was not unreasonable and we absolutely loved all 7 items that we ordered (steak tataki, veal curry, pekin chicken, sausage curry, fish of the day, spicy rice and dumplings). All of the food was was bursting with flavor, service was attentive and quick, and there were many options for my mother who eats dairy-free and gluten-free. The only negative was that the music was quite explicit, which some members of my party were bothered by."
"Very fun higher end asian-fusion concept with a focus on meat. While the design of the interior leans more chinese, there are a lot of korean flavors on the menu which I love. If you have been to a lot of upscale asian fusion this is not going to be a completely new experience but that doesn't mean its not good, and a lot of the little details delighted and surprised me. Speaking of interior it's so well designed and interesting. Each room has a theme and feels very immersive and different. Great lighting design. We sat at the bar facing the line which is an awesome experience. Be warned if you do sit at the bar, it is hot! Like temperature hot, you're less than five feet from a super hot grill hot. The cocktail program is absolutely outstanding. I will try to make these cocktails at home because I'm going to be craving them. I want to have a restaurant that serves cocktails like these. They have a great balance of novelty, texture, and flavor. In particular the Dekotoro (sp?), which has vodka, tomato water, and kimchi is for me the perfect highball. Salty, umami, mega refreshing without being sweet. I could chug a pitcher. Katsu sando is not just instagrammable, it totally lives up to expectations. It's simple but the ingredients are high end and that's what makes it special. Steak ssam is great, the wakame is a novel touch that works really well. We really loved the fried rice, every element is excellently cooked (prawns in particular) and the smoky wok hei stands out. It is however not real picante, it is argentine picante aka not spicy. Get the side of kimchi, their kimchi is nicely fermented with a great sour effervescence. Service is top notch, they anticipate and without fail attend to any need you might have from an empty drink to more garnish or sauce and are very knowledgeable. The chefs and bartenders are top notch and being served by them at the counter is a pleasure."
"Peking duck is my favorite dish. It’s rare in this part of the world, yet the best version I’ve ever had was made with chicken at Niño Gordo, now become my favorite restaurant in Buenos Aires."
